Gin is classified as a beverage made from neutral alcohol, which has been distilled from cereals, natural sugars, or other natural carbohydrates and whose flavour results from patent mixtures of added fruit, herbs and spices with Juniper the dominant aroma.
Some of the added Botanicals are:
- Juniper Berries, Coriander Seed, Liquorice Root, Fennel Seed, Cinnamon Bark, Nutmeg, Aniseed, Angelica Root, Lemon Peel, Bitter Orange or Sweet Orange Peel, Orris Root and many others.
The spirit which we use for our Gin is distilled from 100% grain with some of the finest Distilled Botanicals added to give it a lingering taste on the palate.
